Nelson Associates provided architectural and engineering design services for the new or renovated Health Care Medical Centers pictured below. Services included site investigations and building condition evaluations, project development, design development, cost estimation, Construction Documents, public bidding, and construction administration services. In most cases there were structural inspections, building system assessments, code reviews, and through our extended team, land surveys and environmental testing.

Staff worked with the Owner and users to identify the desired program and interior space plan. Some of the areas designed include: Occupational and Physical Therapy suites, medical laboratories, diagnostic and treatment rooms, physician and staff offices, conference and staff training facilities, reception areas and cafeterias.

Clinton Medical Facility, Clinton, NY: Nelson Associates conducted a site and building conditions evaluation and provided planning, programming, architectural design, and complete structural, site, mechanical, and electrical engineering services for the renovation of an existing facility to accommodate a Community Medical Center. The construction cost was $650,000 and the project was completed in 1998.

Sauquoit Medical Office Building, Sauquoit, NY: Nelson Associates provided full architectural and engineering services, planning, design, Construction Documents, and construction services for 6,000 square foot community medical center providing outpatient, ambulatory care. The construction cost was $650,000 and the project was completed in 1998.

Washington Mills Medical Office Building, Washington Mills, NY: Nelson Associates conducted a feasibility study, building conditions evaluation and provided planning, programming, architectural design, and complete structural, site, mechanical, and electrical engineering services for the adaptive reuse of an existing building and construction of a 2,800 square foot addition. The construction cost was $900,000 and the project was completed in 1998.

Whitesboro Medical Facility, Whitesboro, NY: Nelson Associates conducted a feasibility study, and provided full professional services for the planning, architectural and engineering design, Construction Documents, Bidding, and construction phase services for the demolition of the existing facility and replacement with a new 8,700 square foot community medical office facility. The construction cost was $900,000 and the project was completed in 1997.
